Heiner Blum

It was HfG Professor Heiner Blum that brought the co-founders of Robert Johnson Ata Macias and Sebastian Kahrs to a magical place upstairs of a local rowing club in Offenbach am Main. Since the 1970s, Heiner Blum creates a wide and diverse array of complex white cube projects and social art happenings or initiatives, shaping a uniquely multifaceted and educated artist persona, that is inspired by and is a part of the emerging club music scene since the late 1990s. His interest especially in electronic music has led him to initiate the ‘Robert Johnson Theorie’ lectures series and the ‘Institut für Klangforschung’, as a part of his curriculum.
